Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves Limited is actively recruiting SENCos for pre-booked short-term and long-term assignments in Greenwich. Opportunities span primary and secondary settings, including maternity, sickness, and sabbatical cover, with temp-to-perm prospects.

We seek UK QTS holders with SENCo experience or a leadership qualification, a solid grasp of the SEND Code of Practice, and strong communication and leadership skills to support pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals.

Qualifications

• UK QTS is essential.
• SENCo experience or SEN leadership qualification.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
• Excellent knowledge of SEN provision and EHCP processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident working with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-booked short-term and long-term assignments.
• Support SEN provision in primary and secondary schools.
• Coordinate with schools for maternity, sickness, and sabbatical cover.
• Assist staff, pupils and parents to ensure appropriate support is provided.
