Job summary

REESON Education is assisting an outstanding primary school in Basildon, Essex, to recruit a dedicated SENCO for an October 2026 start.

As SENCO you will identify and assess needs, develop individualised support plans for SEND and EHCP students, and guide teaching staff. You will collaborate with parents and external agencies to ensure appropriate support, in a school rated outstanding by OFSTED.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in SENCO.
• Experience of working with students with SEND including EHCPs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), are supported and enabled to achieve their full potential.
