Smile Education Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming Redditch school to recruit an experienced SENDCO for a permanent position starting September. The role requires QTS, SENDCO experience and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete).

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience as SENDCO or SEND leadership role.
• National Award for SEN Coordination or willingness to complete it.
• Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Genuine passion for improving outcomes for children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the school's SEND provision.

The Role
