Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves Limited is seeking SENCo professionals for pre-booked short-term and long-term opportunities across Greenwich’s primary and secondary schools. Opportunities cover maternity, sickness, sabbatical leaves and temporary-to-permanent roles, with competitive weekly PAYE pay and no umbrella companies.

The role demands UK QTS, SENCo experience or a leadership qualification, and a strong grasp of the SEND Code of Practice.

Qualifications

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• SENCo experience and/or a relevant SEN leadership qualification.
• Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
• Excellent knowledge of SEN provision and EHCP processes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident working with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Quickly understand a school's SEN provision to plan appropriate support.
• Support staff in delivering targeted SEN interventions and strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and external professionals to optimise pupil outcomes.
• Maintain clear records and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Provide dedicated consultant support throughout placement.
