Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition for children and young people with SEN in the TS26 Hartlepool area during weekday school hours.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year UK teaching/tutoring experience, SEN background, strong communication, and a valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). Part-time hours and competitive pay offered, with support from a dedicated consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Support students with SEN including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
  • Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and professionals.
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Promote confidence, independence, and academic achievement.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the TS26 Hartlepool area. This rewarding role involves delivering personalised one-to-one tuition during weekday school hours, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions.

  • Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

  • Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.

  • Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils, families, and professionals.

  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records.

  • Promote confidence, independence, and academic achievement.


Essential Requirements


  • Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
