Teaching Personnel in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor for a part-time role during school hours, starting September 2026. You will deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to SEN needs, plan lessons around abilities and targets, and work with the school and wider support team.

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Liverpool?
We are looking for a dedicated tutor to provide personalised support to a student with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence, develop their academic skills, and make positive progress.
Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to the student's SEN needs.
Plan lessons around individual abilities, learning styles, and targets.
Adapt teaching strategies to support different learning needs.
Support academic progress, confidence, and engagement.
Use positive behaviour-management strategies where required.
Build a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
Work closely with the school and wider support team.
Previous SEN experience is essential.
Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or working in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning.
Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
At least 2 years' teaching experience within the UK curriculum is desirable.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
