Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Liverpool is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor for a part-time role during school hours, starting September 2026. You will deliver personalised 1:1 tuition tailored to SEN needs, plan lessons around abilities and targets, and work with the school and wider support team.

Candidates should have SEN experience, UK curriculum familiarity, and QTS or tutoring qualifications are desirable. An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

  • Previous SEN experience is essential.
  • Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or working in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
  • QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
  • At least 2 years' teaching experience within the UK curriculum is desirable.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Tutor looking for a rewarding opportunity in Liverpool?

We are looking for a dedicated tutor to provide personalised support to a student with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence, develop their academic skills, and make positive progress.
