Job summary

Academics Ltd in Rochester is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to support a student with dedicated, personalised learning. You will lead planning and delivery of lessons, taking ownership of the curriculum and adapting to the learner's needs.

Experience with SEN and a background in teaching or private tuition are essential. This role offers flexible 15-hour/week scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful difference in a young learner's progress.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Tutor to support a student in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who enjoys creating engaging, personalised learning and wants the freedom to shape the curriculum around an individual student's needs.

About the Role

As the tutor, you will take the lead in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the student's abilities, interests and learning needs. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of the curriculum, adapting your approach to help the student build confidence, develop their skills and make meaningful progress.

You will ideally have experience working with children with SEN, although previous tuition or teaching experience is essential.
