Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group in Dudley seeks experienced SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one tuition for students with special educational needs. Tutor core subjects and tailor lessons to individual learning needs, helping students regain confidence and engagement.

You will monitor progress, complete weekly reports and collaborate with families and schools to ensure effective support. DBS check or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• SEN tutoring and 1:1 teaching experience required or desirable.
• Ability to tailor lessons to individual learning needs.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain an Enhanced DBS via Update Service if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised one-to-one lessons tailored to each student.
• Deliver tuition in core subjects: English, Maths and Science.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEN and barriers to learning.
• Build positive relationships that promote confidence, engagement and a love of learning.
• Monitor and assess progress, updating lesson plans as needed to maximise outcomes.
• Complete weekly reports on attendance, engagement and progress and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with families, schools and Remedy Tutors team to ensure consistent support.
