Job summary

Young Giants in Northampton delivers bespoke 1:1 tuition for learners with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH, teaching Maths and English across KS1–KS4, in learners' homes or local community venues.

The role focuses on engaging, personalized teaching, building trust, and safeguarding standards; requires 2+ years of SEN teaching, up-to-date curriculum knowledge, and a willingness to travel to learner locations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners.
• Up-to-date curriculum knowledge across KS1–KS4.
• Able to mentor and support learners on their personal journey.
• Strong safeguarding understanding; willing to complete training.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to learners with SEND.
• Teach Maths and/or English across KS1–KS4, plus related subjects as needed.
• Build strong relationships and foster learner confidence.
