Job summary

Young Giants is seeking tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition for learners with SEND (Autism, ADHD, SEMH) in Buckinghamshire. Sessions occur during the day at learners' homes or local venues, with timetabled slots.

The role involves teaching Maths and/or English to KS1–KS4, plus other subjects based on your specialty. You will use engaging methods, build trust, and support each learner’s personal journey with safeguarding as a priority.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners.
• Up-to-date curriculum and subject knowledge.
• Ability to combine mentoring with academics and support each learner's journey.
• Strong safeguarding understanding and willingness to complete mandatory training.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to travel to learner locations.
• Dedication to making a long-term difference for learners.
• Compassion, patience and resilience.

Responsibilities
