Job summary

Young Giants in West Berkshire is seeking dedicated tutors to deliver bespoke 1:1 tuition to learners with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH. Sessions occur in learners' homes or local community venues during the day, following fixed timetables.

You will teach Maths and English KS1-2 and other subjects based on your specialty, using engaging, tailored approaches to build confidence and form strong, supportive relationships with each learner.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience teaching SEN learners
Relevant and up-to-date curriculum and subject knowledge
The ability to combine mentoring and academics, building trust and supporting each learner on their personal journey
Strong understanding of safeguarding and a willingness to complete any mandatory training necessary in this area
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to obtain)
Ability to travel to learner locations
Dedication to making a long-term difference in our learners’ lives
