Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting 1:1 SEN Tutors to support primary and secondary pupils across Walsall and surrounding areas.

You will work one-to-one with learners with SEN, delivering personalised tuition in pupils' homes or school settings, with flexible part-time hours to fit your availability and commitments.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience with children or young people with SEN.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or individualised support.
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary/secondary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, adaptable and passionate about SEN support.
• DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Relevant SEN or teaching qualifications desirable.

1:1 SEN Tutors Required - Primary & Secondary | Walsall

Location: Walsall and surrounding areas
Working Setting: Pupils' homes and school settings
Position: 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutor
Hours: Flexible - Part-time opportunities available

About the Role

We are currently recruiting passionate, dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Tutors to support primary and secondary-aged pupils across Walsall and the surrounding areas.

You will work on a one-to-one basis with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing personalised educational support to help them overcome barriers to learning, develop confidence and achieve their full academic potential.

Tuition sessions will take place either at the pupil's home or within a school setting, depending on the individual placement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition to primary and secondary-aged pupils.
• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning abilities and educational targets.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback where required.
• Create a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with parents, schools and other professionals where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' teaching or tutoring experience within the UK.
• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or individualised learning support.
• Good knowledge of the UK primary and/or secondary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one, subject to compliance requirements).
• Relevant teaching, tutoring or SEN qualifications are desirable.
