Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition for primary and secondary learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

You will support mainstream and SEN/SEND learners, tailoring sessions to individual goals and needs to help students re-engage with learning and gain confidence. The role offers flexible part-time or full-time opportunities, with specialist SEND training, ongoing CPD, and dedicated consultant support to help you succeed in delivering meaningful

Qualifications

• Applicants must have the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
• Experience supporting mainstream and SEN learners is desirable.
• Ability to travel to Portsmouth and surrounding areas as required.

TP Tutors is looking for passionate and committed tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to primary and secondary learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

This rewarding role involves supporting both mainstream and SEN/SEND learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning, grow in confidence, and achieve meaningful academic progress. Whether learners require support with Maths, English, exam preparation, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or other SEND needs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference to their educational journey.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children and young people
• A background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or education
• Experience supporting mainstream and/or SEN learners
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of safeguarding practices
• Ability to travel within Portsmouth and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
