Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced QTS Tutors to deliver one-to-one tuition in Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will tailor sessions to primary and secondary learners needing additional support, exam preparation or SEND-focused tuition.

Working one-to-one enables personalised sessions; you will assess progress, adapt strategies, and collaborate with schools and families to drive measurable learner outcomes. Hourly pay is £25-£30.

Job description

TP Tutors is currently recruiting experienced QTS Tutors to provide specialist one-to-one tuition across Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers who are passionate about delivering personalised education outside of a traditional classroom setting. You will support primary and secondary learners requiring additional academic support, intervention, exam preparation or SEND-focused tuition.

Working one-to-one allows you to tailor every session to the student's individual needs, helping them build confidence, improve attainment and enjoy learning again.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
