Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking passionate SEN Tutors to support students with Dyslexia, ADHD, autism and related needs. You will plan lessons, adapt to learning styles, monitor progress and report monthly to parents or carers.

We offer flexible hours, both in-person and online tutoring, and a welcoming team environment with professional development opportunities. Experience in SEN teaching and QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning styles.
• Qualified in education or SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE).

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons and resources around student needs.
• Deliver engaging sessions across core subjects and life skills.
• Track progress and provide monthly reports.
• Support learners with challenging behaviours.
• Incorporate visuals and outdoor activities when appropriate.

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students. If you're passionate about helping children with unique learning needs and thrive in a personalised teaching environment, we want to hear from you!

Ideal Candidates:

• Have experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
• Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)

This tutor role involves:

• planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
• plan and deliver engaging sessions.
• apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
• manage children with challenging behaviour.
• track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
• potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
• learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
