Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group seeks passionate SEN Tutors to support students with diverse needs in London. The role involves planning and delivering tailored sessions, supporting core subjects and life skills, and monitoring progress to inform monthly reports.

Ideal candidates will have SEN teaching experience, strong communication, and a compassionate, patient approach. Opportunities exist for both in-person and online tutoring within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.).
• Qualified in education or SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE).
• Ability to tailor lessons to diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons and resources around individual student needs, including core subjects or life skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions.
• Apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
• Manage children with challenging behaviour.
• Track learning progress and provide monthly reports.
• Engage in outdoor activities and visuals to support communication when needed.

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students. If you're passionate about helping children with unique learning needs and thrive in a personalised teaching environment, we want to hear from you!

Ideal Candidates:

• Have experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success
• Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)

This tutor role involves:

• planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
• plan and deliver engaging sessions.
• apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
• manage children with challenging behaviour.
• track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
• potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
• learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
