Remedy Education is seeking passionate SEN tutors to support students with diverse needs through personalised sessions, either in-person or online. You will plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual learning styles and track progress to report monthly outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient, compassionate teaching and the ability to adapt to varied student requirements, with opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
• Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons and resources around the student’s needs, focusing on core subjects or life skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging sessions.
• Apply skills to raise pupils’ confidence.
• Manage children with challenging behaviour.
• Track learning progress and provide monthly reports.
• Potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature.
• Use visuals to support communication when needed.

We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Tutors to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students. Ideal Candidates:

• Have experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Qualified in education or relevant SEN-related fields (QTS/PGCE/SEN qualifications)

This tutor role involves:

• planning lessons and resources around the student's needs. This could be in the core subjects or life skills;
• plan and deliver engaging sessions.
• apply skills to raise pupils' confidence.
• manage children with challenging behaviour.
• track the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and being able to provide monthly reports.
• potentially engage in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student,
• learn about visuals to communicate in some cases.
