Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a SEN Trainee Teacher for a specialist independent provision in Guildford. The role offers 9am-5pm hours, Monday to Friday, and involves delivering a broad curriculum to small groups or 1:1 learners aged 4-19 with Autism and related needs.

Starting as a 1:1 TA, the post includes a training pathway over 1–2 years to join the teaching team. It is a permanent role with both full- and part-time options and a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Creative, friendly and resilient individual committed to supporting learners with SEN.
• Experience working or volunteering with children or young adults is desirable.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences for small groups or 1:1.
• Assist with delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum while participating in the three-stage interview process after shortlisting.
