Job summary

Randstad Education in Hindhead, United Kingdom, is seeking a SEN Trainee Teacher to join a specialist independent provision serving 90 pupils aged 4–19. The role is a permanent position, available full or part time (minimum 3 days for part time).

You’ll start as a 1:1 TA and, within 1–2 years, receive training to join the teaching team in a supportive, inclusive environment. The school recently refurbished learning spaces and offers a welcoming staff room, termly outings and a £1000 welcome

Qualifications

• Creative, friendly and resilient individual who is committed to supporting learners with SEN.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience working or volunteering with children or young adults is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, challenging and differentiated educational activities and sensory experiences through a broad and balanced curriculum to small groups or 1:1.
• Assist in the training pathway toward becoming a member of the teaching team over 1–2 years.
