Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming SEN School in the NG5 area of Nottingham.

These full-time roles support pupils with a range of additional learning needs across both primary and secondary phases, with DBS required and opportunities for ongoing training.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, helping learners access learning and achieve targets, with support from a specialist education recruitment consultant.

Qualifications

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Are patient, resilient, and nurturing in their approach.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Hold a DBS on Update Service (or are willing to obtain one).

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Work on a one-to-one and small group basis.
  • Help students access learning and achieve their individual targets.
  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

NG5, Nottingham | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN School in the NG5 area of Nottingham.

These full-time positions are available across both the Primary and Secondary phases, supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced SEN professionals or individuals looking to build a rewarding career within specialist education.

The Role
