Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs across schools in Doncaster, with travel to Rotherham and Barnsley. This role offers flexible hours and competitive rates of pay.

You will provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH, while working closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored strategies in an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience preferred).
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to schools across Doncaster, Rotherham, and Barnsley.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
