Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting Daily Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a range of mainstream primary schools in Greater London. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping learners overcome barriers and stay engaged in lessons.

With flexible hours and access to CPD and ongoing consultant support, this role offers meaningful, varied day-to-day work and the chance to make a real difference in children’s lives across local schools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience within education, care, youth work, sports coaching or support work is highly desirable
• A positive, patient and resilient approach
• Strong communication skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language and Learning Difficulties
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Encouraging children's independence, confidence and engagement in lessons
• Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment
• Helping pupils manage routines, transitions and social interactions
• Promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day

We are currently recruiting Daily Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs across a variety of mainstream primary schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
