Are you a passionate graduate looking to kickstart your career supporting young people?

A fantastic, high-achieving primary school in the borough of Havering is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant - Unqualified to join their team ASAP. The role involves supporting students until at least the end of the academic year in July 2025. This is a long-term, full-time position.

An excellent team of teaching staff and graduate teaching assistants deliver a bespoke curriculum designed to equip children with essential knowledge, utilizing specialist facilities to provide individualised support.

Role Responsibilities

1. Work alongside experienced teaching staff to deliver subject material.
2. Work directly with students in and out of the classroom.
3. Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis, focusing on SEND pupils.
4. Assist pupils with SEND/SEMH needs, with previous experience in this area highly desirable.

Role Details

Location: Primary school in Havering

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, term-time only

Duration: Long-term, until at least July 2025

Pay: £105 - £110 per day

Start date: ASAP

Candidate Requirements

1. A 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a reputable university with strong academic records.
2. Previous child-based experience and a keen interest in working with SEND.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A desire to pursue a career working with children and young people.
