Graduate Teaching Assistant – Unqualified Teacher

Outstanding Academy School in Newham, East London, is seeking graduates for the role of Teaching Assistant / Unqualified Teacher. The position offers a salary of £540 to £630 per week, with 23 vacancies available, starting in September or possibly sooner.

Ideal candidates are final-year students with a 1st or 2:1 degree in subjects such as Maths, English, Science, Geography, History, RE/Philosophy, Computer Science, Drama, or Modern Foreign Languages (French, German, Spanish). Graduates from Oxbridge or Russell Group universities are preferred.

Pathway to Qualified Teaching:

Progression to salaried teacher training from September 2026, with opportunities to plan and deliver lessons, observe teaching practices, and collect evidence towards teaching standards.
