Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Swindon. The role involves supporting a child with special educational needs, who has an education, health and care plan (EHCP). The ideal candidate will be empathetic, patient, and passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives, especially those with Autism or similar needs.

This position offers valuable experience in the Special Needs and Mental Health sectors, with opportunities to collaborate with professionals such as speech and language therapists, educational psychologists, and occupational therapists.

  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Experience: Previous experience with children with Special Needs preferred
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: Swindon
  • Hours: Full-Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Salary: £84 - £95 per day

The school has excellent transport links and on-site parking. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, receiving ongoing support and training for professional development.
