Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN at a school in Louth. Immediate start, term-time full-time role, with daily pay between £95 and £100 depending on experience.

You will work with students on ASC and PMLD, providing personalised support, aiding mobility and communication, and collaborating with teachers and therapists to deliver targeted interventions. A supportive, inclusive environment helps every child thrive.

Qualifications

• Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (particularly autism and/or PMLD).
• Patience, resilience and understanding are essential.
• Collaborates well within a team and takes initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about helping pupils with additional needs reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support secondary-aged pupils with a wide range of SEN including ASC and PMLD.
• Provide personalised one-to-one and small-group support to aid learning.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication where required.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to deliver structured learning and interventions.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive school environment where every child can thrive.
