Job summary

Randstad Education in Reigate is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with severe learning and physical disabilities at our specialist school.

You will work 8:30-4:30 with a daily rate of £88-£93, and a DBS on Update Service or willingness to undergo. Driving preferred and proximity to public transport is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3-6 months working with SEN pupils or transferable skills from similar industries e.g. care or support work.
• Understanding of various complex disabilities and/or autism.
• DBS Update Service or willingness to undergo one.

In this role you will be supporting students with a variety of severe learning and physical disabilities.

Working Hours: 8:30-4:30

(Salary: £88-93 per day)

Requirements:

• The school is near public transport options however driving is preferred.
• Enhanced Child and Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo one.
• Proven history of 3-6 months working with SEN pupils or transferable skills from similar industries e.g. care or support work.
• An understanding of various complex disabilities and/or autism.
• Transferrable skills from other related fields: care, support work or similar.
