Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Location: Mansfield

Daily Rate: £90 – £110 per day

Start Date: September 2025 or earlier

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Are you passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in Mansfield.

As a SEN TA , you’ll work closely with children and young people with a range of learning difficulties, helping them access the curriculum and thrive in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs

Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)

Support students' social, emotional and behavioural development

Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to tailor learning strategies

Promote an inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN

A calm, patient and flexible approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
