Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support children with complex needs at a specialist school. You will work 1:1 with a small class of 6-8 pupils and assist with planned activities under the lead teacher's guidance.

The role is full-time, permanent, based on approximately 37.5 hours per week, with onsite parking and opportunities for progression. A supportive environment and funded training are provided to help you develop SEND experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach and support learners with complex needs.
• Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Teaching assistant experience.
• Experience working in SEND settings desirable but not essential.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
