Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is preferred.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential.
• A degree or significant experience in supporting students welcomed.
• Strong communication skills and patience.
• Positive, proactive attitude and passion for diverse learners.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (unless on Update Service)

• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with SEN.
• Support social, emotional, and behavioural needs of students.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work with staff and outside agencies to ensure best outcomes for students.
• Keep accurate records of progress and provide feedback to teachers

Your Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant with Aspire People, you'll support students with various learning needs, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their best in the classroom.

You’ll be expected to:

• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored lessons

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is preferred
• A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable but not essential
