Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support autistic children at a remote school site. The role is term-time only, with 36.75 hours per week and an annual salary of £23,000 (pro rata).

You will work in 1:1 or small-group settings, applying structured, evidence-based techniques and positive reinforcement to foster social skills and academic progress while collaborating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or autistic individuals in similar roles.
• Ability to provide own transport due to school location.
• Permanent right to work in the UK; no sponsorship.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead lessons to support students' social and emotional growth while helping pupils achieve standard academic goals.
• Use structured techniques to help students thrive while maintaining a calm, supportive atmosphere.
• Assist with pupils' daily needs, including personal care, break times, and educational trips, as part of a collaborative team.
• Advance your personal development through continuous training and fully funded qualifications.
