Awards-ready SEN Teaching Assistant role with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd involves supporting autistic children in a remote school location, focusing on 1:1 and small-group sessions. You will use evidence-based teaching techniques to tailor sessions, foster social skills, and accelerate learning.

Term-time only with structured hours and a joining bonus. Key responsibilities include planning lessons, maintaining a calm environment, aiding pupils with daily needs, and pursuing funded qualifications

Qualifications

Experience working with children or individuals with autism in similar roles.
Resilience and flexibility in dynamic learning environments.
Committed, proactive approach.
Own transport due to school's location.
Permanent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS check.
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4) or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead lessons to support students' social and emotional growth while meeting academic goals.
Use structured techniques to create a calm, supportive learning environment.
Assist with pupils' daily needs, including personal care, breaks and trips.
Pursue continuous training and fully funded qualifications.
