The ideal candidate will have extensive SEN experience, a track record in primary settings, and a commitment to individualised, inclusive support to help pupils access learning and build independence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience working within a primary school setting.
• Ability to provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support.
• Commitment to individualised and inclusive support.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN.
• Support pupils to access the curriculum and participate fully in classroom activities.
• Use your SEN experience to provide consistent and individualised support.
• Help pupils develop their confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet individual needs.
• Support positive behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider support team.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
