Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is advertising a SEN Teaching Assistant role at a primary school in Newham. The position is full-time, long-term, ASAP start, paying 90-110 per day depending on experience.

You will support a KS1 pupil with ADHD, providing one-to-one care to help with learning access and confidence. The ideal candidate has prior SEN experience, is calm and patient, and can collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and promote inclusive

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
• Calm, patient, nurturing support as a SEN TA.
• Experience working with KS1 pupils is beneficial.

• Support social and emotional development and positive relationships with peers and staff.

The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a KS1 pupil with ADHD, providing one-to-one support to help them access learning, develop independence and build positive relationships. You will collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to follow tailored support plans, encourage engagement and promote the pupil's academic, emotional and social development. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and proactive, with a genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs. Previous experience working with children with SEN is essential.
