Your new school
This SEN nursery provision in Leicester supports pupils aged between 2 and 5 years old with complex and enduring special educational needs and/or disabilities. Pupils benefit from the support of specialist practitioners who work hard to provide an inclusive Early Years education for SEN children from across Leicester. The school boasts a light room, spa room, soft play room, and ICT suite – all of which contribute to a holistic approach to SEN education.
Your new role
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work with a team of specialist practitioners to support pupils with a range of additional needs to access this school's bespoke curriculum. Hays Teaching Assistants make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people who have a range of care needs, life experiences, and personalities which make every day different. You’ll benefit from ongoing support from your Hays consultant, Hollie, who will be there for you throughout this placement and beyond.
What you need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll have a minimum of 1 year's experience working with SEN children aged between 2 and 5 years old. You’ll be proactive and adaptable to working with children with a range of complex educational and physical needs. You'll be prepared to work full-time on a term-time only basis. Most importantly, you’ll be confident stepping into a new school and ready to quickly build relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
