Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Teaching Assistant for full-time roles in Ashford and surrounding areas. Roles are Monday to Friday with potential long-term or temp-to-perm opportunities and a pay rate of £93 per day.

Responsibilities include supporting EHCP students, building relationships, helping manage behaviour and collaborating with teachers, families and agencies to provide personalised learning programmes.

Qualifications

• Must be happy providing personal care.
• Right to work in the UK confirmed.
• Enhanced child DBS on update service or willing to obtain one (fee reimbursed after 20 days).

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students with EHCPs.
• Build positive relationships to encourage engagement and growth.
• Support students in managing behaviour and understanding its impact.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and agencies to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Deliver highly personalised programmes addressing individual needs.
