Job summary

Yorkshire Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants for roles in Goole and surrounding areas. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, including long-term and day-to-day assignments. Start date is ASAP, with pay ranging from £92.56 to £100 per day.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent). Level 3 is desirable.
• Experience working with children in EYFS or nursery settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient approach.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting early childhood development.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities for children across EYFS - KS2.
• Help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that promotes exploration, play, and early learning.
• Assist in the personal, social, emotional, and educational development of young children through targeted support and encouragement.
• Work closely with the class teacher and other staff and contribute to planning, observation, and assessment.
