Job summary

Pioneer House High School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 (SEN) to join our dedicated team. This permanent role offers 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days, with a starting salary of £22,730 per annum. You will work under supervision to support learning and progress for pupils with special educational needs.

The successful candidate will have numeracy and literacy skills, be a team player, and commit to professional development within Prospere Learning Trust ethos.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy skills at least level 2 equivalent.
• Commitment to professional standards and development.

Responsibilities

• Work with small groups of children under supervision.
• Provide regular feedback on pupil progress to the class teacher.
• Assist with supervision of discreet groups when the teacher is not present.
• Support equal access to learning opportunities for all pupils.
• Participate in training to develop learning strategies and progress.
