Job summary

Priory School in Portsmouth is seeking friendly Teaching Assistants to support students, especially those with SEN including SEMH. You will work with pupils to improve confidence in learning and help deliver Maths and English support.

The role requires excellent communication, ability to build positive relationships, and a commitment to safeguarding. Desirable prior SEN experience; training and wellbeing resources provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may lack confidence.
• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support students learning, including those with SEN and SEMH.
• Work predominantly with pupils with high needs.
