Horizon Teachers is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Newham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, offering £450–£600 per week and the chance to impact pupil learning across the school day.

The successful candidate will support pupils individually and in groups under the teacher's direction, with a focus on safeguarding and inclusive practice. DBS check and QTS or equivalent are required.

Qualificações

• Experience as Teaching Assistant or supporting children in education.
• Warm, patient and engaging approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence supporting pupils with diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils with their learning in class, small groups and one-to-one.
• Help pupils stay engaged, follow instructions and complete activities.
• Support pupils with additional needs as required.
• Assist the teacher with resources, classroom activities and behaviour management.
• Encourage confidence, independence and social development.
• Observe progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
