Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Ashley Park School in Epsom is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support learning and unlock each pupil's potential. You will work with teachers, therapists and a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, nurturing classroom where every pupil can thrive.

The role focuses on one-to-one and small-group support, adapting lessons, building confidence, promoting inclusion and safeguarding. Permanent, term-time arrangement with a start in September 2026; UK applicants only,

Qualifications

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
  • Patient, compassionate and committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Adaptable and resilient to meet individual pupil needs.
  • Willing to learn and pursue professional qualifications.
  • Desirable Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils overcome barriers and achieve goals.
  • Assist with delivering engaging, personalised lessons and resources.
  • Build confidence, independence and positive relationships in the classroom.
  • Support planning, delivery and review of learning activities and support plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to provide joined‑up support.
  • Help create stimulating classrooms that spark curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Contribute to a calm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
