Job summary

Over Hall Community School in Winsford is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our SEN team on a temporary contract until August 2027. You will work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCo to deliver targeted support for pupils with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN).
• Ability to work under the guidance of the SENCo and class teacher.

Responsibilities

• Delivering interventions in line with EHCPs, 1:1 and small groups.
• Planning and delivering targeted support programmes.
• Supporting sensory needs, including leading sensory circuits.
• Promoting inclusion within the classroom and wider school.
• Building positive relationships with families to support pupil progress.
• Working with external agencies and implementing their recommendations.
