Job summary

Senploy is supporting a warm two-form entry primary school in West Acton to recruit enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants. You will join an inclusion team that values pupil progression and a stable, well‑structured classroom environment.

You will work across KS1 and KS2 with pupils who have ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language needs; duties include 1:1 and small‑group support, adapting resources, and collaborating with teachers, the SENCO and external specialists.

Qualifications

• Calm, consistent behaviour management is expected.
• Good communication with pupils, families and colleagues is essential.
• Experience with SEND is advantageous but not required.
• Commitment to pupil progress and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support based on EHCP targets.
• Assist pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour routines.
• Adapt learning resources and scaffold tasks.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and external specialists.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement.
• Keep brief notes and contribute to SEND reviews when required.
