Job summary

The Supply Register is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs. You will work with the school's SENCO to deliver tailored assistance and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

You will provide one-to-one or small group support, help implement IEPs, monitor progress, and build strong relationships with students, parents and staff while pursuing ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience with students with SEN desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and a passion for supporting diverse learners.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN, inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist teachers in implementing IEPs and accommodations for SEN students.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued.
• Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers and parents to monitor progress and adjust support strategies.
