Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above including English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in tandem with teaching staff.
• Ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons on a whole-class and individual basis.
• Prepare resources to support learning activities.
• Ensure pupils are supported pastorally.
• Contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
