Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant in Salford to support pupils with additional needs across KS1–KS2. This full-time role follows school hours, with an immediate start and ongoing daily support from a dedicated consultant.

You will assist with small group and 1:1 learning, help build communication and confidence, and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment. Weekly pay ranges from 470 to 570 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting.
• Experience or genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Calm, patient and positive approach.
• Ability to work with children across a range of abilities and needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group and 1:1 learning support to pupils with SEN across KS1 and KS2.
• Support teachers with planning, preparation and classroom delivery.
• Help pupils develop communication, confidence and social skills.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Work closely with teachers, the SENCo and school staff to support pupil progress.
