Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to join partner SEND schools in the Ossett area. You will support pupils with additional needs, including Autism, PMLD, Complex needs, Mobility, SEMH and MLD, in school settings.

The role requires prior experience with children and the ability to obtain quality references; you may be asked to undergo an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service. We offer excellent daily rates paid weekly, pension contributions, compliance with agency

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people within last 4 years.
• References from these roles must be obtainable.
• Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support school aged pupils with additional needs within SEND settings.
• Assist with day-to-day activities and learning support under supervision.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment for pupils with Autism, PMLD, Complex needs, Mobility, SEMH and MLD.
