Job summary

Winner Education is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a SEN school in the Oldbury area of Sandwell. The role starts in September on a long-term, full-time basis.

The successful applicant will have SEN experience and experience with KS3, KS4 and KS5 age groups. The duties include 1:1 support, assisting with phonics, tailoring learning materials to individual learners, assisting with pupil progress reports, and liaising with outside agencies as required.

Qualifications

• Previous SEN experience.
• Minimum Level 3 TA qualification.
• Experience with KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Used various communication methods to support pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with severe SEN requirements.
• Assist the main class teacher in lesson preparation and delivering phonics.
• Tailor learning materials to individual learners.
• Assist with pupil progress reports.
• Liaise with outside agencies when required.
