Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in Lancashire primary schools. This role offers flexible supply, short-term and longer-term opportunities with a competitive pay rate of £14.25 per hour.

You will provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, work one-to-one and in small groups, and help manage behaviour while assisting the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience as SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Calm, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups to support learning and behaviour.
• Assist pupils with ASC, ADHD, SEMH and other needs.
• Support the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons.
