Job summary

Supply Personnel is recruiting caring Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Loughborough. Roles include SEN-focused and mainstream settings, with part-time, day-to-day supply or full-time temporary positions.

You will support pupils with additional needs, foster an inclusive learning environment and work as part of a supportive school team. DBS enhanced certificate preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Careful, patient and reliable approach with pupils.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils.
• Support pupils with SEN to access lessons and activities.
• Help pupils develop communication, social skills and independence.
• Assist with emotional and behavioural support using positive strategies.
• Adapt tasks and resources to individual learning needs.
• Promote inclusion and pupil participation in class activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and support staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure pupil welfare.
